Default Time for a tuneup!

Where are some good shops to go for a tuneup?

I don't feel like paying the crazy rates that the dealers charge for a tuneup and an oilchange. It's not rocket surgery, so it shouldn't cost that damned much. Anyone have some ideas?

On a side note, I took a little tumble last winter (2008) and still haven't done the repairs. My tank is dented/scraped. I was thinking of just replacing it myself - being a good farmboy I've done all kinds of repairs of this nature before. Anyone have any advice for me in regards to this? Where to buy the tank at a reasonable price, etc...

I can't advice you on a good and reasonable priced shop, I live 500 kms away from Vancouver but there must be one out there because there are "tons" of shops in the Vancouver area.
For your tank, there is the Chop Shop in your area. I'm almost sure this is the official name of the shop. They part out newer bikes. Just google it.

I go to 5th Gear for everything, best rates anywhere 604-244-7666.... As Bob said Chop Shop for the tank.
