    Post Forum Rules:

    Forum Rules BCRiders.Net Mission Statement:

It is my goal that BCRiders.net continues to stand out as a unique and friendly family orientated site for motorcycle enthusiasts. It is a site that is friendly, clean and unique. That policy is reflected in the site content.

    Forum Rules:

    Respect other members
Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. You have the right to disagree with that opinion. You do not have the right to be rude, vulgar, or disrespectful in expressing your opposition. Flaming will not be tolerated!

    No harassment
Absolutely no tolerance. If any moderator receives a report of harassment that can be validated through our online logs, the user can face being permanently banned, ISP notified of internet misusage and possible police action based on severity.

    Keep it clean
Motorcycling should be a family oriented activity. When posting please avoid using excessive vulgarity. Many people read the boards while at work or with young eyes present. Posts with excessive language use will be edited or deleted at the discretion of the mods/admins. Questionable images and threads (bloody, nude, racist ect..) are not acceptable and will be deleted. Dirty jokes or other non "work safe" threads should be marked in the title. Pornography is strictly prohibited!! . Classy "babe" photos can be uploaded to the appropriate image gallery otherwise the post will be deleted.

    Make your comments count
If you have something to say, make an effort of communicating it intelligently. Don't have anything worth while contributing? Don't say anything. Lest keep the "junk posts to a min"

    No Spamming / Advertising
Please do not post the same question across multiple forums. The best way to get the answers you are searching for is to post a clear single question in the appropriate forum and be patient, Replies will come. If you are in a hurry for a particular answer try using the search button or reading through replies to similar questions. It may just contain the information that you need. Any members advertising their wares on the site without expressed permission will get banned. Personal items for sale in the classifieds are ok.

    Copy Written Material
The site will not host for download copywritten materials such as books, music, movies ect.

    Disallowed specific topics
We're all about freedom of speech, however there are some topics that don't belong here, such as:

    Running from the cops.
    Police bashing/slander.
    Breaking the law.
    No satanic threads/links etc.
Politics. Unless posted in the Underground Politics area
    Any form or racism PERIOD.

    Avatars
Avatars must be in good taste. No nudity profanity ect. We wish to keep this site safe for members to view at work and home. If you are asked to change your avatar please do so accordingly.

    Signatures.
Short and sweet please. No links to commercial ventures you have any interest in or advertising unless you actively sponsor the site

    Marketplace/Classified Ads Posting Rules:

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER FOR 30 DAYS AND HAVE A MINIMUN OF 10 POSTS OR BE A SUPPORTING MEMBER BEFORE YOU SELL ANYTHING ON THIS FORUM.
This goes for trading items as well. This eliminates the spam, the "bots", and the theif. It protects everyone involved. It is a rule set by the owner, and followed strictly by the Moderators. Please follow it.

Vendors (or people selling quantities of the same item) must first contact the Administration (members: Admin) to get information on being a paid advertiser before posting items for sale.

No eBay, Criagslist, or outside linking of for sale items.
If you have stuff in auction on ebay, then sell it on eBay. We will not have the items placed here also. List your product here, try to sell it here, then take it to eBay.

There will be no "auction-style" selling here.
If you post an item for sale and it says anything like "I will take the highest offer" it will be removed. If you want to run an auction, take it to eBay.

Posts will be deleted at the discretion of the moderators.
There is tendency to post negative replies when someone lists an item for sale that others consider "overpriced". Negative comments will not be tolerated. To put it simply-If you dont have anything good to say; keep it to yourself.

Omission of information is also known as fraud.
Example: If you are selling a leather suit that has a 9 inch tear in it you need to disclose that information to the buyer. Do not tell the buyer that the suit has "light wear" only.
If its determined that you defraud a member by failing to disclose crucial facts about your items, your access to this section will be restricted and you may be banned from the forum.

Use this section at your own risk.
There are alot of scams out there so take precautions in your business ventures. BCRiders.Net WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSSES AS A RESULT OF USING THIS SECTION. As a suggestion: sellers should consider using delivery confirmation to avoid conflicts from buyers; saying they never received the products. Buyers, get to know the seller a little before you blindly send cash. If something doesnt seem right; it probably isnt. If something seems to good to be true; it probably is.

    Respect fellow members
This section is a great place to make an extra buck and occasionally new friends. Please be respectful to your fellow members. Maybe try selling here to a member instead of eBay, maybe save them a buck or two. If you have any questions, problems or concerns feel free to contact Admin.

PLEASE try to go back and mark SOLD when the item sells.
This will help eliminate the old threads coming back up, as well as help those looking for specific items.

Lastly, don't forget the Buyer/Seller Feedback forum. Be sure to express a good or bad experience with your buyer or seller, and let others know what to expect. Also be sure to check there for a member if you are concerned BEFORE you buy.

    TIPS/HELP
    1. Describe your item in the title.
    2. Post a price, easy to find, not just lost in the paragraph of description.
    3. Give ALL details. i.e color, size, year, make, model, etc
    4. POST PICTURES
    5. Put "For Sale" in the title of For Sale items, put "WTB" for items you Want To Buy.
    6. List shipping, pick-up or delivery options for the buyer.
    7. Be sure to add "SOLD" one the items are sold.

    Moderation Rules:

    1. All spammers get banned instantly and permanently.
    2. Inappropriate or out of hand threads shall be closed with a reason posted for the closure or deleted at the discretion of the Mods/Admins.

    Rules Enforcement:

    1. If you cannot follow the rules set forth, your posts may be deleted, removed, or edited by the Moderators.

    2. If you repeatedly do not follow the rules set forth, you will be banned from this section or from the BCRiders.Net for any length of time from 2 days to permanently, at the discretion of the Moderators.

NOTE: These rules can change at any time. Administrators and Moderators have the right to make any decision that fits the website and its users.

The opinions and posts on this site do not neccesarily reflect those of the site owners or operators.

It's funny (or sad; depends how you look at it), but a lot of people always assume that my full name is Robert; and it's not, it's just Bob. So maybe Robert want's to keep it "Robert".

Bob, you are absolutley right & that was a slip of a tounge for me as I am like you are. My name is Angela NOT Angie or Ang. It has always annoyed me when I introduce myself & that person takes it on themself to shorten my name. Only my late Mother & my baby Sister call me Ang. Even Dani calls me Angela ( as well as other choice things. hehehe). My apologies to you my friend Robert. My Bad. hehehehe

You guys are funny, I like the subtle humour here. Well to be honest I was called Rob at work for 30 years and Bob in my younger days. For some reason there was a change when I retired at 65 and the Banks,Government offices,CPP,Police and so forth always used Robert.I kind of liked it,it felt like a sign of respect to use my actual name in my senior years, so it stuck with me and I use it exclusivly now. Using the actual name which my parents gave me feels like I'm honoring them by using it now instead of a shortened version. My Mother is 89 and still living in the home my Father (RIP) built in 1952 in Fleetwood-Surrey.
Yep we have history in Surrey and Langley that goes Waaay back before WW II. So whats in a name...I don't know, but respect is good, and if a name is used with respect thats a good thing I'd say.
