Default MC Poll: Motorcycle magazines.

Over the last couple of years my girlfriend has given me two subscriptions on Canadian motorcycle magazines: Inside Motorcycles and Canadian Biker. Before that I just bought the magazine with the most interesting cover, on the stand in the supermarket.
What about you?
You can choose more than one option!

The problem with mag's today is that everything you want to know about a particular bike or riding gear is a google click away . If I want to know what upgrades the Kawi Concourse 1400 gets for 2010 , I don't want to wait a month or 2 before they decide to "test' it ......... 3 seconds on the web and I get every thing I need , and so many pictures , plus you save trees and all that other earth friendly crap . I haven't bought a magazine in years ................not even porn ....................( also free online by the way )

Doesn't matter whether you're reading the latest V-strom review, or studying the chapter on how to remove the right fork strut on your G.W. in the factory service manual, you just can't beat reading it in book form. The internet is good for finding info quickly, but books and magazines are here to stay forever. Just so much easier to peruse and absorb.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

We don't need those young kids to tell us what is best.

No matter how hard you try .........you just can't beat the clock . The young bucks these days don't want to read books or even service manuals ........ In a few years you will be able to sync your headset to the bike and the web at the same time and it will talk you through how to change a fork seal or adjust a valve etc.... with 3-d display from any angle ..............books are dying wether us old timers like it or not ......sorry......

I'm surprised that you count yourself as an old timer.
