I took down a dead Birch tree on my property this morning.
I had to do it before it decided itself to flatten my bike-shed (and bike). I cut it down a little higher on the trunk, so it wouldn't reach the fence, and laid her nicely in between my bike-shed and the carport.

As long as the frost is coming out of the ground and the snow on the ground is melting away my lawn is like snot, if you walk on it you sink an inch or so away. So even if I wanted to get my bike out, as soon as I push her out of her cozy den I'm stuck and would not be able to get any further let alone back into her safe haven.
