Default Ashes to ashes.

I left my bike outside overnight, something I never do, and when I looked at her I thought ? It was covered with grey speckles, at closer examination I noticed that, luckily, I could blow them off. It's ashes from the fires here. The whole valley is smokey, you can see it and smell it and at night, when you look at the moon, it is all orangy. It reminds me of the big McLure fire we had here a couple years ago, we were on evacuation alert and were without water and electricity for weeks. Brrrr, I don't want to go that route again.

For a normal person, yes! But for those Ultra Iron Butt type people (I don't want to mention names here, but her name starts with "D" and ends with "e") 1000+ km on one day is peanuts.

I unfortunately have to admit that it used to be "peanuts"....but now (not because of my age....of course) it's a little more like "cashews".
But bring them on..........I like them a lot!!
